Welcome Dear Guests,

Thanks for visiting the River Hills web site. I want to invite you to check us out online, and to be our guest on Sunday morning for worship and teaching. We are on a spiritual journey which is focused on being reliable and risk-taking followers of Jesus Christ.

Our purpose at River Hills is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

For instance, our members offer free meals to the community every Sunday evening; and others from our faith community help build homes with Habitat For Humanity several times a year. Then there's CATCH, an affordable housing ministry in Dakota County, through which River Hills people care for the upkeep needs of one of the units.

Currently, we are working on a building program for the Debrugsal School and Orphanage in Sierra Leone West Africa. These are just a few of the ministries which put "legs" to our belief that God wants the Church to find ways to show love to people in many ways. We’d like you to join us if you feel so moved.

We’ve got programs for children, youth, and adults. We offer Christian education, small spiritual growth groups, music ministries, pastoral care and outreach opportunities. Our Youth are planning mission trips for the summer of 2007.

We are very proud of our Early Childhood Center (daily child care) and our Pre-School. These programs offer Christian-based nurturing for children year round (nine month school year for the Pre-school). Check out the links on our home page.

We are pleased to be able to serve the south suburban region along with many other fine Christian congregations of various denominations and affiliations, so if our particular ministry does not fit your needs, I commend you to one of our partner congregations in this area.

Please remember, "our hearts, our minds, our doors are always open" to you!

Duane Sarazin,
Lead Pastor
