Mission, Purpose and Objectives

The mission of River Hills Early Childhood Center (RHECC) is to offer a loving, nurturing Christian environment for children to learn and grow.

Our philosophy is to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and develop by providing a Christian based curriculum implemented through a variety of learning centers.

At RHECC we offer a Christian based curriculum to children six weeks old through kindergarten. Our curriculum all areas of development: large muscle, small muscle, outdoors, blocks, science, social studies, art, sensory, math, dramatic play, music, as well as Bible learning experience.

RHECC provides a well balanced breakfast, lunch and two nutritious snacks daily. Our program participates in the Federal Food program.

RHECC is licensed through the Minnesota Department of Human Services and is staffed by a Director, Assistant Director, Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Aides who are all qualified through the Minnesota Department of Human Services. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Full day kindergarten
Small classrooms
Christian curriculum
Low ratios 

Minimum Ratios:
Infants: 1 to 4
Toddlers: 1 to 7
Preschool: 1 to 10
Kindergarten: 1 to 15
